Whilst Concept Yachts were based in the UAE, we were commissioned by a confidential client to setup a state of the art composite manufacturing facility to accommodate the construction of 15 x 15 metre, high speed, Carbon Fibre, anti piracy, interceptor patrol boats.

These gun mounted vessels were designed to be extremely high speed (70 knots), light weigh for manoeuvrability.

Could this be the new state flagship of the UAE?

Enzo Manca designed this unusual and futuristic flagship based on defence ships, with some design input from a Sheikh. The idea is, that this ship will become the flagship for the UAE.

With the design being based on privacy, it has two heli-pads and multiple meeting rooms for international meetings. At 140 metres in length, it features a massive 18-meter swimming pool, a wellness spa plus 9 decks covering a total of 2,800 square metres. There are also 8 luxury master cabins and 14 mini suites for guests. Not to mention the 35 cabins for up to 65 crew!

The day also highlights the urgent need to keep our oceans clean and healthy. Oceans cover over 70% of the earth's surface and are home to a diverse range of marine life. However, they are facing severe threats such as pollution, climate change, and overfishing.

Pollution, especially from plastics, is one of the biggest threats to the health of our oceans. Every year, an estimated 8 million tons of plastic waste end up in the ocean, causing harm to marine life and ecosystems. To combat this, individuals and communities can take steps to reduce their use of single-use plastics, properly dispose of waste, and participate in beach cleanups.
